Individual
Psychotherapy

I specialize in providing individual therapy for individuals experiencing anxiety related challenges across the life span. I am able to meet both in person and via telehealth depending on what we decide will best serve your needs. In addition to anxiety related problems (e.g. Generalized Anxiety, Separation Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Panic, OCD, etc)  I have experience working with a variety of other often co-occuring mental health challenges including:

  • learning disabilities

  • ADHD

  • depression

  •  grief

  •  low self esteem

  • social relationship issues

  • struggles with emotional and behavioral regulation

  • supporting challenges faced by LGBTQ youth

Children and Adolescents

Working with children and adolescents lends itself to a natural collaborative process with parents in order to gain a more comprehensive understanding of needs, develop goals that are realistic and meaningful to the child and family, and support progress outside of the therapy session.  During sessions, I actively work to connect with the strengths and interests each child and adolescent brings to therapy by incorporating drawing, art projects, visuals, books, books and “experiments” to make the therapeutic process more accessbible and engaging.

Adults

My work with adults is always a collaborative process. This work begins with gaining a better understanding of the struggles that are bringing you to therapy as well as the goals and values you want to be moving toward. Together we will explore the challenges that seem to get in the way and experiment with new ways to respond to and navigate these challenges that inevitably will arise along the way.
